Happy New Year to All :D:D

How time flies, in just a blink of an eye, it is already 5th of January today.
Tak payah lah nak cerita azam tahun baru kan cause it is such a boring topic. Allow me to keep my resolution only to myself.
Okay lah, maybe to share one simple wish I strive to achieve each day i.e to be a better person and live life to the fullest. Boring is in it? haha.
Someone is getting married in August, and the wedding ceremony will be in SWEEDEN!

And also, Happy Birthday to Daia and Ee Fei i.e Abang Long and Kak Long!
How does it feel to hit 28? Rasa macam dah tua tak? As me the same question in February okay :)

Happy New Year 2009

Tak sangka it's already 2009 and at the moment of writing this, it's already 4th of January!! Tomorrow is Ee Fei's birthday and Ee Fei if you are reading this, Happy Birthday in advance dear! I love you so much :)

Here is a year's worth of my life in 2008 in less than 60 seconds :
January - Decline the offer to pursue Masters
February - Develop new hobby i.e cooking and baking
March - Lost few kgs, visited Bangkok
April - Assigned to new project, IRQ
May - Busy with work
June - Tried all sorts of cakes and cuppies
July - Addicted to cooking pasta
August - Bf's family came to merisik
September - Anyam my first ketupat bawang, baked my first kuih Hari Raya
October - Settled my car installment, got engaged!
November - Visited Langkawi again, love at second sight to golfing, started to love DVD marathon
December - less work, more holiday, spent most time with friends, baking, jogging and hangout with my girlfriends, threw a surprise birthday party for Hazzy
Cant' wait to know what 2009 holds in store for me but here are some of my wishes and dream for this wonderful year.
1. Spend more time with my family
2. Maintain at 50kg
3. Deliver more than the expected, especially at work
4. Regular detoxing
5. Minimize shopping activity
6. Banyakkan berdoa
and many more.

Selamat Hari Raya!

That evening we had Iftar for DPE staff at The Zon. DPE is a big crowd so Iftar for different department was held on different day. Reservoir Engineering Unit ones was held on Tuesday.

That is my boss. Which one? Go figure!
He is now away and will only be back after Raya.

On the next day, we had another free Iftar with Sch Wireline. Everyone is already in Hari Raya mood so this is how everyone was behaving in the office, in addition to the fact that the boss is away.

While waiting for the Iftar at KL Convex, went window shopping with 2 of my best friend, Sha and Zakian. Zakian misses nasi lemak badly. Just thank to the fact that you'll be celebrating your raya in KL not Vietnam.

Happy Birthday Kak Ogy

She is the lucky 8 girl! This girl was born on 8 August 1978, memang banyak ong lah this year. Happy Birthday Kak Ogy. You are now 30 years old! (But she looks more like a 25 years old lady huh?

She visited us in Seremban last week so the three of us (Mama, Kak Ogy and myself) went out for our "girls-only" outing at Jusco S2. Mama and I treated her a birthday dinner at Secret Recipe. Where else to go in Seremban, if not Jusco S2?

H-Fibre Cheese Cake

As stomach is full and heart is happy, we headed to Mama's favourite pit stop every time we went to Jusco, none other than the MPH! This new Hajjah is so obsessed with "buku-buku agama" while I saw Kak Ogy browsing Lat's cartoon books at the bench and giggled to herself. I am no where to be seen near to Hajjah, I was at the entertainment section, browsing magazines for free thee hee hee.
I bumped into this book Eat, Pray and Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Look interesting. Bf mentioned about the book too, he happens to knew it from the Oprah show. Man, I didn't know that he watch Oprah.

Cup Cake Galore

With the oil price madness, I guess the best solution would be staying at home and hibernate. Zzzz.
Mum will turn 50 this coming Tuesday. In an attempt to save cost, I decided to bake her homemade cupcake for the special day. This is my 3rd time making cuppies; am quite close to the perfection now. Cuppies sweetness? perfecto! I am trying to minimize the artful effect, especially on the color. I scared someone with me Shrek green cup cake the other day haha!
Am planning a surprise birthday party for mum at her office this Tuesday. Sasa, my favourite partner in crime, will be assisting me insyaAllah. Happy Birthday in advance Mum!

Sophie's picked-up the right month to launch her latest release. Last year, I had Shopaholic and Baby for my birthday and hoping to get this one from any of you too :)

I hoped to play Pachelbel Canon for my exam this year but had difficulty in finding this book. Argghhh! I called Chambers Music and Kino but the book is to no avail. Make my dream come true, make me play Pachelbel to you. Buy me this book. (hey it rhymes!)

3. Michael Buble - Call Me Irresponsible

Ezzaini, thank you for purchasing the CD for my 25th birthday. Unfortunately, I lost the CD. Technically, I didnt lost the CD. The CD was the one who lost it's way. It was last to been seen in dad's car and seconds after that, it's gone. I want my Buble back!!! It doesnt matter if someone is kind enough to look for the missing CD (the one from Ezzaini) or a brand new (make sure it's original) as long as I can get my Bubble back.

3. Any cooking or baking books to compensate my new hobby. Preferably by Malaysian publisher

4. Vouchers - ISETAN, G2000, Topshop, Zara, MNG, Primavera and the list goes on

5. Ladies office bag, black in colour so I can dump my outdated and boring ELLE bag.

Whodahell is Ozy?

The name Ozy originates from the word Aussie, but I was made to understand that the man himself was born somewhere in Tanah Melayu. We went to the same univ, back then he was kind of chubby and still is now. A cat lover, owns an orange fluffy Persian cat called Barb. He can be categorized as ladies' man, very understanding when it comes to women's infatuation with handbags and shoes. On his recent trip to Austria, he bought me an adorable black handbag with a coin pouch in it. A Facebook junkie, it's unbelievable how is he able to manage his Facebook to that complexity. As for me, Friendster is more of my cup of tea. Even my Myspace account was put to sleep few months ago.
Allrite Ozy, no offense to you and your Facebook. Do whatever it takes, as long as it makes you happy. I know you are happier now. Happy Birthday To You!
