Bye Bye Maxis Broadband

I finally terminated my Maxis broadband. Memang lah connection Maxis broadband ni agak menghampakan, but the main reason for the termination was purely because of we under utilized the broadband itself. Lepasni nak guna internet, guna Blackberry saje. Save lah RM48 per month.
I still have one more year to go with Maxis. Maybe after that I will re-evaluate whether I want to stay loyal to Maxis or switch to other operator. So far, in term of phone coverage agak ok, customer services pon ok. In addition to that, Maxis center is just nearby my office. So memang convinient.
Eh tetapi ada sesuatu yang fishy about Maxis. The amount of my phone bills for this month and last month is exactly the same, siap dengan sen-sen nye sekali. Sometimes I wonder, betul ke Maxis ni kire usage? Dah lah bill die sangat menyusahkan orang untuk baca. Berbelit2. So since that, I kind of, macam tak rasa sedap hati about Maxis. Sixth sense ghetu.

Sick and Stressed

When I was a baby girl, mum fed me with Haliborange for daily supply of vitamin C. When I was a teenager, mum fed me with Redoxon. I love both Haliborange and Redoxon.
I am down with flu and so stressed right now. Redoxon, please save me!

Shoe Blog Part 2

Topshop is only sekangkang kera from my office so usually during lunch or after office hour, I would probably drop by and go one round, just to check on anything new or interesting inside. And so on last Friday, the clog was there.
They had it at size 5, as per pic. Size 5 looks ok from the side but size 4 would suit me better. They dont have size 4, only size 3. I tried size 3 but no, I still think size 4 is my perfect size. Hmm, looks like I might need to check it at other Topshop outlet.
I wanted to post the photo of this one cute M & S flat which is on sale right now. When it first came out, the burgundy flat shoe was sold at RM300. M & S is having sale right now and price lowers down to RM150. They have size 4 and 5 but 4 1/2 is no longer available!!

Shoe Blog

So guess I was not destinied to own that pair of Topshop wooden clog. It was sold out, suits to the fact that the shoe was released few weeks ago. Fine.
Speaking of shoes, my few months old Prim is also gone. I was so so happy when the peep toe high heels was sold at discounted price few months after it was launched. Suprised and felt a bit suspicious too but a happy little heart could not bother that much after having the peep toe in hand at cheaper price. I hardly wear the peep toe out of KLCC, because I know Prim is too fragile to handle the surface outside. So it was worn only once in a while, most of the time coupled with my Long and Lean G trouser.

The peep toe is now damaged. One way to fix it is to reattach the sole to the heels but I bet the extra adhesive to it could turn it to a mess. So I decided to wave bye bye to the shoe and buy new one.

On the other note, this is my current addiction

With mi Adidas, you can customize your own shoe, choose design, choose colour and have your name on it. Coolness!Check out how kennysia do it. Only at Pavillion KL.

Hello Monday

Currently at my parent's place and this is where I will be until Wednesday. Hubby is out station since Saturday for one week. I decided to lepak at my parent's place knowing that I will die of boredom if I were to stay home alone in BBB.
Just like in my single's day, I take a bus to the office and will be taking the same transportation for the next 2 days. There are continuous supply of food in here, so hello to a chubbier me! And the most exciting part is I get to be with my baby cat, Meena. Such a bliss!
Today's presentation went well. They know they can't expect much from my one week experience in the department. But as for myself, it was a personal satisfaction to take the challenge and present even though I am new. I have one more presentation next week.
Looking forward for my 2 days off on Thursday and Friday, to join my husband and go for a mini holiday until the weekend. Ticket is already booked for Thursday morning, very early in the morning. Can't wait for Thursday to come, as I already feel a bit lonely without him around. It has been 3 days already.
For the mean time, I have Farmville and Trip Advisor to keep me occupied. I am still struggling to finish up my Travelogue and reviews. Grr grr. I will post them once they are ready.
On the other note, my only and favourite watch suddenly went off today. Am not sure of the cause, could it be the battery? or could it because of it's nearning to 22 June? That watch really know when is the right time to stop eh. And anyway I could not get of my head on this Topshop wooden clog. I tried it on already but did not make the purchase because I was rushing. If that clog is still around on my next visit to Topshop, I must say that I am destinied to buy the clog.

Nothing Much

Nothing much except busy clearing my workstation at L17 to move to L13 next week. The new department looks ok,thumbs up to my new big boss who kindly approved my advanced annual leave for June and July. But.. anyway it comes with a price. I was ask to present stuff on this new field next week. Can you imagine someone with zero knowledge to present on something so difficult and complicated. Wish me luck. That is why I am so stressed up and cranky these few days.
I am also due to present stuff to close out the study in my current department. So 2 presentations means double stress! But being me, I know how to tell myself not to worry about it too much and just to enjoy life. Trying.
In the reservoir studies group, I dated oil and gas reservoir. My first relationship with Pulai was for only few months. Pulai is like a typical Malay man, nothing interesting about him, just ordinary. It lasted for only 3 months. My longest relationship was with a carbonate reservoir hailed from this Middle East country which hold among the biggest oil and gas reserve in the world. Ymm reservoir is so so interesting to study and explore. Ymm reservoir is huge (ehem) and heterogeneous, which means it is full of suprises. And in our 1.5 years of courtship, Ymm reservoir showered me with so much love, something like when that you dated an Arabic guy. HAHA
Okay so after Ymm reservoir, was this guy, Angsi. The relationship with Angsi was also a short one, around 2 months plus. It was very dynamic and full paced. Angsi has huge potential and it was fun working with him too. After Angsi was this reservoir from the Soviet country. We ventured gas recycling together. Unfortunately, the relationship didnt work out well. Too many problem with the simulation model.
My last love is with one imaginary lover. It is a conceptual reservoir that I created to study storage of CO2 in saline aquifer. He is one of a kind in this world. The technology is new but soon will be big I tell you.
Okay, so now after series of dating and much fun on flirting with domestic and international reservoir, I am getting married to a domestic reservoir/field called Tiong Kepong. Starting from next week, I will focus only to TK and give my full attention and care for TK, for at least 2 years. I am not sure how well will I do this. Will I become too obsess of TK? Or will I get bored, on one fine day in between of the 2 years? I have no idea. Seriously. But one thing for sure, there are lots of tit bits sold at the pantry at L13. So maybe during my ups and mostly downs with TK, I know where to channel it to i.e to the pantry.
Please pray for us. Pray that everything goes well.

Wedding Galore

I am fully booked for the month of June just to attend wedding!
Anyway, since predicting/forecasting is the nature of my work, I did a simple prediction on wedding I attended/will be attending:
Me in my 20s, would be the peak oil period, is the time where attending wedding is at its max. Wedding of friends, colleagues, relatives. And ever since I got married, the number doubled . Now need to tag along to hubby's friends, colleagues and relatives weddings too.
Me in my 30s, probably the plateau period. Friends, colleagues and relatives at my age are most probably married and busy expanding their families. The weddings I am attending this time would be the weddings of my junior staff in the office or my nieces and nephew or younger cousin.
Me in my 40s, more or less the same with me in my 30s. In the end of my 40s, the plateau shows bit potential of increasing trends.
Me in my 50s, is where my parents and parents in law right now are. They are fully booked for weddings, mostly weddings of their friend's daughter/son. There are similarities of their trend and our trend, that sometimes, they outsource the invitation to us, to attend on their behalf, especially if the bride or groom are our friends. And it is also the time when one by one of our children get married, InsyaAllah.
Me in my 60s onwards, in o&g prediction, it is called decline curve analysis. Invitation is still there. InsyaAllah, kalau panjang umur dan sihat tubuh badan, dapat lah pergi. After this is wedding cucu, wedding cicit and so on.
That is all I guess, a simple prediction on wedding galore :p
Next week ada 4 weddings to attend and I really love the buying present part!

New Hobby

Not actually new hobby, but new things to do and keep me occupied. Currently in the process of spring cleaning my wardrobe and getting rid of those unworn clothes or clothes which are not on my favourite list. Am selling them all in Mudah.com.my. So far so good. Hot selling items are my stuff from especially from MNG, Levis and G2000. Maybe I will share few in here when I am free. I am in the mood to buy new clothes, especially those with colours.

Maxis Dilemma

I have been a Maxis loyal user since 2000, 10 freaking years people!! And yeah, I tend to agree with some people's statement that Maxis don't value their loyal customers. Up till today, I never receive anything from them. Birthday voucher ke, rebates ke, points ke. Only kononnyer free calls and sms which I think is nothing.
I still remember my first hand phone. It was a Sony Ericson subscribed to a Maxis post paid line. Dad bought a complete set for me. We have the same number, except for his last number was 1 and mine was 0. During university, he paid all my phone bills. My credit limit was only RM250. When it burst, I called and informed dad, he paid and I was able to make calls within hours. That is why I love my dad so much :>
Most of my calls were to my mum, dad and granny. Budak baik baik lah katanyer. That was fmy irst year in university.
I could not remember who pays the bills after that but one thing for sure, my parents were my resort for any financial aids until I got my first job. Now days, I pay all my bills and basically, settle my own financial stuff.
On Internet, my first Internet journey was with TM prepaid cards. It cost you only RM15 and the line was damn slow. That time Friendster was just like Facebook. But those cards comes handy only during semester break, because in university, the Internet is free and it was heaven it tell you.
So got fed up with the prepaid cards, I subsribed to Streamyx Internet. For only RM49, the entitlement for my package was 60 hours per month, which was ok for non-heavy user like me. That time there were no facebook. More to blogging and blog hopping and chit-chatting in YM. I was quite happy with my Streamyx line. Eventhough once in a while it can went berserk just like that, but most of the time, it was reliable and 60 hours was manageable.
I terminated my Streamyx line when I got married and moved in to Bangi. We don't plan to install any telephone at home because our mobile number would suffice. Once in a while, I would work outstation and on weekly basis, I am all over the place i.e my parent's home, in-law's home, holidaying or where ever we tend to be. That was how our journey with Maxis broadband begins.
Suffice to say, I am quite dissapointed with Maxis Broadband :
1. They have no unlimited package
2. Usage goes by volume
3. The services is unstable
4. etc etc
I subscribed to RM78 package which grant me usage limited to 1.5MB per month. 1.5MB per month people!? That explains why I seldom load pictures in my blog anymore. With Facebook and Facebook games (a person tells me that I am addicted to FB games theeheehee), my usage usually went burst for only a week after the 1st of every month. What will happen after your usage burst is the line will go slow and you barely can surf anything anymore. My contract is for one year and will ends Jul 2010.
On Dec last year, I subsribed to Blackberry Enterprise services; the fee is RM99 per month with unlimited usage. My Internet usage on Blackberry is very minimal, mostly on FB updates and that is all. The technology is not up yet that able us to play Farmville using BB, even some websites such as CIMBclicks, Maybank2U can't be accessed using BB. Knowing that, I was a bit frustrated. RM99 per month with minimal usage is a total waste. Well, I happen to know that after I purchased the baby. But am quite a relief to know this baby is able to act as a modem. So what we did now days is to surf Internet using BB as modem but still, we can only do that with hubby's laptop, which is a Window based lappy. I don't really favour his lappy cos the touch pad is driving my crazy, I still think my Macy is the more friendlier than his lappy. And I still havent installed the Blackberry Manager in my Macy to which can hopefully allow me to surf Internet using BB as modem. Some people says this is not possible using Macbook. Am not sure yet. Will check on that.
I know Celcom is now promoting something similiar to what Maxis have; with no contract period. And Maxis seems to follow. I am not sure when will there be days, broadband with unlimited usage, will be launched by Maxis. And I am not sure when will Streamyx launched it's broadband services, coz I will surely go for that. I will go for anything that makes surfing easier and comes with unlimited access and also with reasonable monthly fee.
Any recommendation?

Diet Duit

I love to shop, especially on clothes, shoes, handbags, women's essentials you know. And since I don't fancy carrying bulk of cash with me, I always go for credit card. But not anymore.
For 2010, one of my resolution is to minimize my credit card usage. I used to have 3 credit card, terminated one of the card after I got married and that leaves it to two. Two is ok I guess, mainly for traveling or emergencies. I gave one for hubby to hide it (it is in the wardrobe anyway, I know :P) and the one with 15K credit limit is with me huhu. 15K credit limit!! Citibank mmg gile!
It has been a month since I last swiped the credit card. I feel good. I feel light. It is just like detox.
I now pay everything in cash.

Family Day

So today, my cool boss broke the news : We are going to have a Family Day!!
Finally! the we-don't-give-much-hope Family Day is coming! Bukannye ape, all this while it was all about cost saving here and there. Last time we had family day was during the peak oil period, which was around 2 years back. I was single back then ehem ehem so I guess for Family Day 2010, I'll not be coming alone anymore!

Hari Membebel

Hari ni I wanna membebel banyak sikit. Maybe because I am pmsing :p
My kereta buat hal lagi. Sebelum itu, few days ago, ada hal lagi terjadi. At Touch and Go Lane, the car the front end was having problem with her T&G card so everyone at the back had to slowly reverse the car and change to the next lane. Bile dah reverse tu up till satu time tak boleh reverse, I stopped. But the car at the front didn't. I honked and honked and honked him but die tengah berangan agaknyer and boom!!! There goes. Die langar kereta aku. Mak sentap! Bile keluar kereta, tengok tade pape, okay lah selamat. Tapi mamat tu memang bengong.
So on last Monday, I was followed by a penjenayah menaiki motor and menyamar sebagai polis. He tried to stop me and lepastu cakap nak saman sebab melanggar undang-undang jalan-raya. Dah la pakai t-shirt, naik motor kapcai, then helmet, lepastu ada selit telefon kat telinga die. Die ingat aku bodoh nak caya die police ke. He tried to stop me few times but I refused to. Last-last, he took my photo and my car and sped off. Aiyor terkejut ok. Takut pon ada. I went to the police and report the case. It seems that guy is using fake plate so I was asked to be extra careful while driving. My boss reminded me to use different path to the office. Hubby is now driving my car coz I kind of freaked out to drive that car anymore. Takut die cam.
So today, while driving hubby's car, tiba-tiba temperature increases. I freaked out again. Dah lah few days ago I saw one car got burnt down while driving back. Aiyor. Nasib baik it happened near a PETRONAS station. I called hubby and he came to rescue. Thanks dear. He brought the car to the workshop. I wanted to follow and plan to take a day off but he wouldn't let me. So I drove my car to the office and let him to fix the other car. I already told my boss that I am going to be bit late. At KL Convex car park, the Early Bird rate is no longer valid because I clocked in at 9AM. So today I paid freaking RM23 for the parking alone! Sentap~
So at the office, I was told to attend this one training and since the company is now in cost saving mode, we are asked to travel by Firefly or Air Asia.
I called few friends to bebebe. Lega sikit lepas bebebe to my friends and bebebe kat sini :P
It is just another Manic Monday :D

Yang Mana Satu?

I have this one close friend, a guy and is getting married somewhere soon. So today, after lunch, he told me this one funny story.
"Tolong I, I rasa iman I tergugat" he wrote at the messanger
"What? what do you mean tergugat. Cemas ni" I replied
Then we both laughed, and continue
"I went out with a girl, an old friend of mine. She told me that she is now single. I could sensed that she has feelings for me coz when I told her I am getting married, die macam terkejut and terdiam. She is cute, cukup membuatkan iman I tergugat"
Hohoho cane ni u ols~ Layan saje lah. But I know him quite well. He is that type who is into hot girls. But the girl he is marrying is type yang baik and decent, which is the normality nowdays. Nak cuci mata yang hot-hot, nak kawin yang baik. Yeah he is quite comfortable of sharing this with me because he knows I don't against any of that. Biasalah tu guys kan.
I wrote back "Well speaking of experience, biasa lah masa time-time darah manis ni, macam-macam benda yang datang menduga. I've been there once"
Tak sempat nak bebel panjang-panjang kat dia lagi coz today was full of meeting. But for me, biasalah kot. Boys will always be boys. Few of my guys friend pon memang macamtu. Ada tu yang married, tapi bile pandang perempuan or anak-anak dara pass by, bukan main lagi diorang. Tiba-tiba jadi single jugak HAHA.
I would like to observe this "iman tergugat" feeling ni, esok ada lagi tak. Ker dah hilang dah. Memang seronok gossip dengan die ni. Walaupun die lelaki, tapi die suke bergossip. I loike.
Okie xoxo :p

My Baby Yellow

I've been driving Yellow for 9 years now; Yellow is my yellow coloured Proton Satria anyway. 9 years went well so far but these few months back, Yellow has been hit by series of accidents. No doubt it is painstacking because each time it happens, our pocket bleeds paying for the damages. First was when the fuel cap suddenly went missing. So we went on road without a fuel cap for quite sometime haha until one day we finally bought the fuel cap but it was black in colour. Once again the car went on the road carrying it's fancy fuel cap colour for quite sometime.
Then on one rainy day when we were driving to Ikea, a Honda Civic suddenly went in front of us. Our emergency brake could not saves us from paying almost RM1.7k for their damages and RM600 paid to cure Yellow.
While we were in LGK, we sent the car for fix and coming back from LGK, the car looks fine again. Even the fuel cap is yellow in colour now. Feel so glad!
Few weeks after that Yellow was due for its regular maintenance. Seems that lots of things need to be fix for this ehem old lady. There goes our RMs again.
And yesterday at JPJ, we couldn't turn Yellow on (we forgot to switch of the car lamp for half an hour I think). Thank God there was someone who helped us to jump start the car. The battery is still new anyway but we are ready for any possibilities to buy new batteries, but dad suddenly says no need to sebab the battery still baru.
And today on our way back driving from Linggi in the hi-way, the front bumper suddenly open and hit the front mirror. We paid almost RM300 to fix for that.
Sad but true, hubby and I rasa takut nak drive Yellow lagi. I love her so much, she has been very good to me so far but I have this feeling that Yellow merajuk. Ada lah this few times we dropped by tempat jual kereta, even catalogue or brochure kereta baru pun banyak dalam Yellow. Only now I start to believe that kereta boleh merajuk if you talk about other car or talk about buying new car.
Well Yellow, I still love you no matter what, jangan sedih okay and I so hope and pray for no more of unwanted incidents after this. Kami sudah broke!

Bersantai dan Lepak Lepak

Tema Hari Ini : Bersantai dan Lepak Lepak.
Bestnye lepak-lepak tengah hari Sunday yang sunny ini :>
Hari Sunday ni memang best lepak-lepak, tapi kejap lagi nak keluar rumah kejap, nak g jalan-jalan tengok furniture, beli tudung dan basuh kereta.
Semalam noon pergi KL sebab nak g TTMC. Lepastu pergi Aster Spring collect something and then straight to PC Fair, teman hubby tengok barang-barang PC ni. Ramai gile orang. Manalah datangnyer orang orang tu semua pon tidak diketahui. Lepastu macam macam diorang beli. Pening~ Hubby sebelum ni die kata die tak suke laptop tapi smlm tiba-tiba die beli laptop. So sekarang ni die busy lah main game bola tapi bukan yang Facebook punya lah. I am the only one kat dalam rumah tu yang addicted to FB. HIHI.
I almost bought that B tapi sebab lambat 5 minit je benda tu dah sold out. Sedih ok :( Why lar u have to sold out :( Bile tanya tempat-tempat lain sume kata sold out jugak. Entah entah diorang ni sengaja je create the demand, so benda ni nampak cam hot selling lah.
Baru perasan yang tempat die buat PC Fair tu was the same room where PE Forum was held. Baru perasan yang die bukak semuanyer and the Hall has now became Hall one (1 big all). Masa PE Forum tu, that one Hall was divided into 3 small halls called Conference Hall. Anyway, pengalaman bekerja dengan KL Convex ni memang impressive. For me, diorang ni memang professional in doing their job, service memang bagus and food memang tidak mengecewakan. I heart KL Convex *ttba*
At 9PM keluar from PC Fair and g KLCC sekejap to destress. And then at 10PM headed home, berhenti dinner sekejap and then sampai rumah at around 12 midnight. Malam semalam ada cerita Exorcist u ols. Anyway, ASTRO dah ok hurrah :>
And u ols, ada satu condominium kat area KLCC nama OneKL. Aiyor I sungguh taste apartment tu. Ada individual pool ok. Kalau kat office tu, bile ada meeting kat meeting room yang menghadap OneKL mesti nak duduk dekat tingkap sbb nak tengok condominium tu HAHA. Semalam parking kat Convex so sempat tunjuk kat Hubby my dream condominium tu. Amin.
Aha bile g kerja pon park kat Convex. Why? Sebab nak orang yang dah 4 tahun que untuk parking KLCC pon tak dapat dapat lagi season pass. So kenalah parking Convex, and then sebab tempat tu covered, then selamat sebab ada orang lalu-lalang. Lagipun dekat sikit lah compared parking lain. I dont mind paying a lil bit for all that. Tapi masa PC Fair aritu, tade Early Bird so merasa mencari parking kat tempat lain. I parked at Masjid tapi horor ok. I came early in the morning so masatu gelap lagi and tade orang, lepastu hujan pulak tu. Habis kasut gym basah. And then bile nak pergi office kena lalu KLCC park yang banyak drug addict and mat pit tu. Eeei scary ok. Lepasni memang tanak parking kat situ lagi.
Okay lah people, nak keluar dah. Toodles :D

December Already

December has always been my favorite month for its year end sale and holiday season. Now is the right time to shop for cosmetics and fragrance especially; everything comes with freebies, miniatures and even vouchers!!
This is also time to relax and to finish off my annual leave!
I have this appetite to go to Genting Highland. Why oh why?
It's because I have never been to Genting Highland :p
Furthermore, it is the cheapest thing to do/go considering it is the school holiday and peak season. Most hotels are already full booked and flight ticket are way expensive!
So Genting Highland saja lah kot, insyaAllah!

Janji Manisku

Theeheehee..
Sorry for those who actually waited for my updates (check out last post). I don't intend to menabur janji manisku okay, but something came up while I was writing that post and only today I had the chance to resurface, after went missing for a while. Sebenarnya I wanted to share about Loccitane Brume Mist I bought. I lurve this spray so much, it removes unpleasent odour and rambut berbau wangi :>

How is life? Well, busy with work, as always.
And both of us were busy with stuff too. We moved to a new place, this week is our second week residing at our own love pad. The day I wrote "la la la" post was the day we got the house. Hubby went back from his class and invited me have a look at this new place. I like it and we straightaway took the key on that day. So, starting from that moment, we were tied up furnishing the place with necessities, beli barang, kemas-kemas etc.
And on yesterday, mum and dad came to visit us and brought Meena along. Meena is now with us in our new apartment. She completes us :D
We spent this weekend at our new place and made kuih raya, bake cakes and cook stuff (dapur baru beli semalam haha). Other than that it's either Farmville, the Internet or reading Body2Body or New Moon. And today we were quite free so we went shopping for groceries and shopping for my tudung raya at Ariani.
Okay people, time for my New Moon. Toodles!
