Sunbathing With Meena

Baju bridesmaid dah siap. Yippie. Seronok sangat. The baju is lace with satin, gold in colour, Nem belikan from Jakarta. I don't usually wear gold you know, a lesson learn from a Grooming Class I attended. It says, for example for jewelery, white gold suits me well than gold. But I guess my gold bridesmaid baju turn out to be beautiful and lovely. At least now I have one gold baju in my collection :D
Tomorrow I will be on leave. So many things to do. One of it is HIV test. Another is to buy birthday present for someone :D. I am not sure the party will still be on or not but on latest announcement, the event will start at 3PM instead of 8PM. Yippie. Boleh lah attend the birthday then. But just now we were informed that Sasa (the second birthday girl) is not able to attend the birthday. So right now it is still pending whether we are to proceed or to postpone. Daia will inform me tomorrow.
I can starting to feel that the heat is on. So many things to do, yet I am bounded between work and the timing of our availability. My fiance is so busy with his work and his training and coaching too. But today, he suprised me with a call saying he is on leave today and like hinting me to do any errands that are still pending. So one that I can think of at that moment is our cards. So today, I skipped lunch and went to choose our cards. He choose few cards and let me to decide which one we want. But I see that he seems to like so much the one he is holding, it is a cute card to. So we took that. But we had it in different color, according to our theme. Card, done!
I tried to find time to visit the videographer and the bridal shop but we have to rushed back so need to postpone to some other time then. When? I am not sure, but definitely not this weekend because I will be busy with cousin's wedding and he will be at his kampung for the Kenduri for the baby Aqil.
Not next week because I will be off to Kuantan and the other week, off to Kedah. Probably end of May, but there will be other things coming too. Time is killing us.
Early June will be Adah and Jes wedding. And I was so shocked when Adah requested me to be her bridesmaid. I was like OMG. Her wedding will be on 6 June at Kedah. And Jes's will be on the next day in KL. I told Adah I will think about it and asked her again and again
"Adah are you serious? Or you are just kidding"
Okaylah, let the issues pending for a while. I will think about it later. Right now Meena and I nak sunbathing and enjoy to music. :D:D
Meena, put on your sunglasses and let's enjoy the lemonade!

Love Pad

We finally have our own love pad! My fiance and I visited the place during the weekend and on Sunday, we paid for the deposit. It's just a small and cute house, cukuplah for the 2 of us and the two cats to live temporarily while finding a permanent place to stay.
His plus point :
* Tennis court is nearby
* Surau is within walking distance
* He can still go for his futsal/badminton Tuesday/Friday nite routine since love pad to venue is just few minutes drive from the venue
* Go to work opposing the traffic
* Ample parking space for our 2 cars
My plus point :
* Go to work with ERL with confirm seats, KTM Komuter is a no-no
* Or drive to work using the KL-Putrajaya hiway
* Pesta Flora, Hot Air Baloon or Fireworks
* A nice place to raise children or a nice place for a family to live
* In between of KL and Seremban, easier for both of us to go balik kampung, once in a while
I am more excited than my fiance is. He is quite emotionless sometimes.
Like on getting a new house? His answer will be Yey! But my answer will be YEYEYEYE! That kind of emotionless I am talking about. With all this, I am now announcing the official launching of my Project X. Project X is decorating/furnishing the love pad. Yeah yeah yeah, I love planning for it!!!

Bunga Telur/Bunga Pahar

I still don't understand the difference between bunga telur or bunga pahar. Apa-apa pun lah. On bunga telur/bunga pahar, mum is more excited than me. Of all the bunga telur or bunga pahar I've ever seen, none yang betul-betul cantik to my eyes. That is why choosing bunga telur or bunga pahar is not an easy decision for me to make chihihi.
The other day, mum and I went to KK to survey for these. But know what ladies, KK is not the best place to source for wedding things like bunga telur or bunga pahar ni lah. KK is more specialized in English home decor. If you are looking for flowers aha, this is the right place. So I told mum,
"Mum why don't we go to SSF for the bunga telur or bunga pahar?"
So to SSF we go. We have already booked the bunga telur or bunga pahar for the VIP/Mama Guest List's/Family. InsyaAllah somewhere on this week they will call when it is ready.
At first we plan to sweep everything on that day. Bunga telur/bunga pahar, small boxes, paper bags but we were running out of time. So this hunt for guest favors is to be continued.
And yes, we need to hunt for flowers for the decorations too. I love flowers from SSF and KK, they are so beautiful. Flowers in SSF look like they are real and that is why they are quite expensive. But paying such amount for the quality you get, I must say that is quite reasonable.
I am not sure when will be the next hunting time because looking at my timetable for next few weeks, it's full of events. Some even overlap.
1-2 May : Cousin Nem's wedding @ Seremban, Birthday Party Apau and Sasa
9 May : Kuantan Trip, Appointment with the Beautician
16 May : Cousin Nem's wedding @ Kedah, Wedding Yus Adi + Huda, Wedding Irnee AZ, Shopping with the Flower Girls
23 May : Wedding Zairul
Those are few that I remember, there are few other more. Haih. Macama mana ni? Which one to attend? :(

Thank God It's Friday

Hurrah! It's the much waited Friday :D:D
Am so happy today. The presentation is done and it all went well! Bravo to the team. Love you guys!
I used to hate this one irritating guy in my team u know because he always ask unnecessary or I would say it soalan yang merapu. Benda-benda like yang memang obviously in the report but he insists on asking me because he is too lazy to read the report. Semuannyer pon nak tanya the reservoir engineer. Kekadang tu tantrum gak nak melayan die macam I tak de keje aje nak buat. HAHA. Sorry emo sikit.
But anyway, after few months now, going through so many presentations, workshops, the ups and the down, I kind of start to make friend with him. HAHA. Okaylah, dah tak rasa irritating lagi dah. Rasa cam dah ada bond with him and the rest of the team too. Hope we will this big elephant. InsyaAllah.
I just got back from my music class and guess what? This year exam, I will be playing Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight. Love that song!
Plan untuk Friday night ini is menonton Marley and Me!

What A Day

It was Meena's turn to down with fever. She is recovering now, after a visit to the vet. Meena had blisters and sores in her mouth that made it difficult for her to eat. And that explains why she was sleeping the whole day without taking her food or drink. She became very quiet.
But not anymore. She is back to business, chatty as before. She starts taking her daily doses of friskie and lots of water. We even feed her with honey for the blisters and some pills for her fever. Good to have you back darling :)
I am getting ready for my technical presentation this Friday. Wish me luck. I cant wait for it to complete. I have already invited mum to visit SSF after my presentation, to destress. Kami sekarang tengah survey bunga-bungaan.
It is only 2months++ left from the event. I am more careful of what I eat nowdays. I've shed 2kgs in 2 weeks, need to shed more for the brides maid duty for cousin's wedding this May.
My fiance keep on reminding me to go and book the Tok Kadi. He is already done with his part. InsyaAllah, will do that soon. Hope the Tok Kadi is free on my date.
Few days back, we went for a site visit to our potential love pads. This place ,X, looks nice in the net, acceptable in real life but the surroundings could have been better. My fiance was the one who saw the ad and share it with me. The picture attached to the ad was not the rooms or view from the balcony, BUT the tennis court provided at the apartment. And I truly understand the messages, which is to consider having any kind of courts nearby the living place. Point noted.
Yesterday, I felt a sudden urge to shop, well, out of nowhere. The end results was one pair of cheap Vincci flat shoes. I've been hunting for flat shoes since forever and the one in Vincci was really cute so I ended up buying it. It has ribbons on it. Cute. There is RM10 voucher with every RM50 purchase. I have one RM10 voucher with me now and plan to spend it later because I dont know what else I should buy.
And Aster Spring gave me RM20 voucher. I have no idea the voucher was meant for what. I even ask the girl at the counter and she replied "Sometimes they gave it to selected customer"
Oh I see..
My recent interest is on eyeliner so I got myself new black eyeliner from Averine. It is not as superb as my Clinique eyeliner (the best!), but boleh lah. Malaysia boleh! HAHA.
On walimatul kurus (not mine but Apau and Sasa) hihi, Daia and I are working on our asses on the pre-planning and RSVP. But Daia is far far away in Bali Land now, so need to wait for him before we can brainstorm on something fun for the party
To my Apau baby and Sasa sayang, Happy Birthday dearies. Both of you mean the world me. Sorry tade hadiah beg gym nike for Baby or beg LV untuk Sasa but insyaAllah, something special is O-T-W for both of you :D
I feel like a zombie now. I bet it all due to too much of staring at my simulation models. I need rest. I need my sleep. I need it now.
Toodles!

3 Months To Go

Three more months to go!
Well, if you ask me what is on my mind right now, I would answer :

Hen's Nite Party!

Hihihi.
Dan macam-macam lagi lah. Anyway, I am scheduled for another technical presentation next week, hopefully this will be the last. If have been working on this project since April last year, we are due for submission by end of this April and hopefully everthing will finishes off smoothly.
Darn, the title is on my wedding but I still blab about work. Okay back to the real topics.
Today my fiance and I went for our regular facial at Aster Spring at S2. After jalan-jalan and makan-makan, we headed back home. I plan to bake chocolate cake for Balqish, for her 27th Birthday yesterday. But then I suddenly remember that both of us are trying to cut down our sugar intake and eat healthily so Balqish said, maybe we will enjoy the chocolate cake somewhere later. Yeah no problem :)
On the other note, my package has arrived yesterday! My package is a digital weighing machine from Maybank, redemed from my Maybankcard points. The weighing scale before this dah rosak, cause my cat lurves to sleep at it. So lama lama mesin penimbang tu jadi gila. Everyday timbang pon 50kg. Confidently I thought I am 50kg lah but then unfortunately I am not HAHA. Okay now dah ada mesin penimbang baru, hurrah!!
Hmm I think Meena is down with fever lah. She seems so quiet and less chatty. She is a chatty cat and when she is not, something is wrong. So tomorrow nak bawak die pergi vet. Kesian Meena. Die pulak yang demam. Get well soon dear!
p/s Meena is sleeping beside me and badan die agak panas

Cuti Sakit

I am down with fever and have been on bed rest since yesterday. I missed my PCP course in PERMATA. Sayang sungguh. They have already put my name on the next batch, which is on next May.
Most of the time, I stay on the bed. Mum, dad, fiance semuanyer keje. Only few friends to talk to in sms, emails and messanger. But Meena has been a very loyal company. Whenever I sleep, she will sleep. Whenever I wake up, she will come to me and meow meow, as if she was asking how am I feeling at that time. Sayang Meena. She is really an adorable cat.
Hoping for a speedy recovery so I can join the PCP Coaching session on tomorrow.

Henna for Wedding

For weeks, I surveyed for it and fell in love with this person's art work on henna. I emailed her and received a reply and was so surprised to know the costs of full henna (for kaki and tangan) for bridal. Around RM350 and that is inclusive of transportation to my home in Seremban. Then I asked her again, what would be the price if I were to go to KL and do the henna, since she is based in KL. I thought the price would be around RM150 to RM250 if I were to do it in KL. Then she said the price will still be RM350 and the henna girl would be her counterparts from Seremban. Quite pricey right? But then, I told myself, malas lah nak fikir banyak, I would just take whatever have come across me and waited for her reply for full quotation but there were no reply. I emailed again, but still there were no reply. Hopeless.
Meanwhile, bumped into another bridal house in KL with henna package at RM150. I asked for the transportation cost for them to come to Seremban, then the girl said she would prefer if I come and do it in KL. Rasa macam leceh lah pulak nak ulang alik Seremban-KL few days before the solemnization so 50-50% lah.
Then I smsed my cousin who is getting married in May. Then she said she has her henna booked at Seremban, at one of the Indian bridal house in the town at only RM130. So today, I went to the bridal house and it seems I came on the right time when they are having a promotion of RM100 for bridal henna (for kaki and tangan). Sounds great eh? And the transporation cost for her to come to my place? RM20 saje! Hurrah!
Masa nak bayar, I saw one of the girl buat threading (eyebrow trimming using thread) so terus rasa nak buat. This is my first time doing threading. Saja je try. My make-up artist did recommend me to do threading instead of shaving so ended up, memang kemas threading to compared to shaving. And the threading process, memang cool lah. I could feel and hear my eyebrow di sentap sentap, bunyinyer macam kertas yang dikoyakkan saje. Murah pulak tu, RM5 saje. HAHA. What an experience.

Colourful Apam

Photobucket
Oh it has been a while since the last time the dapur berasap. I was so busy with all kind of things. But this weekend, I stayed at home, did the cleaning, a bit of painting and of course - baking! It didn't take long to do this apam. Within half and hour, the apam is ready and the taste is so yummy :D

Shopping for Wedding

Just now after office, Mama and I went to Jakel at Jalan TAR to buy kain for the family (untuk wedding). Kain is sponsored by Mama and Ayah but kain for Mama and Ayah is by me lah. Tiring but fun and glad that this part is considered settled. Tomorrow, I plan to drop by at SSF to buy the items for door gifts so during the weekend I can proceed with the decorating part.
On the other note, the technical workshop ended today and they left us with few recommendations and comment on the recent work. Looking at it, I foresee that I will still be involved in this project at least until May. So tak boleh lah enjoy-enjoy sangat, need to work harder and concentrate. I have no idea whether my well sitting program should commence or not. But at least, I have the chance to skip office next week for 3 days, to attend workshop on Personal Career Planning. Saja je choose light topic so I can unwind and relax. The workshop will be in Bangi. Seronoknyer. No traffic and peaceful environment. I've also started on my diet program so no more bingeing!
Mama is addicted to muffin by Ratukek. She ordered few for her friends and next order is tomorrow, which is for her colleague's daughter birthday on Saturday. Aida's birthday is tomorrow so I think I should also order few cuppies for Aida since, during my birthday on Feb, she actually baked blueberry muffin for me!! How sweet!! Sedap pulak tu. Aiyor, I wish I have time to bake for her but since her birthday is on weekday, I have no choice but to outsource the task to Ratukek hihi. Happy Birthday in advance Aida! :D

Light and Easy

Phew lega gile dah habis presentation. But tomorrow will be the part 2 of the workshop i.e individual discipline discussion with the specialist. I foresee that the carbonate geologist is going to bombard me with questions. Aiyor. Wish me luck!
On Friday, I took a day off and drove back to JB to attend Faizal and Zila's wedding at Faizal's side i.e my family side. I was the unofficial photographer and the spokesperson for the family like
"Auntie, silakan makan"
"Saya nak jemput Aunties and Uncles kepada Zila untuk merenjis"
Ke hulu ke hilir di buatnya. Sampaikan orang ingat I the pengantin pon ada. Funny!
And our way back, in the car, mum was sharing stories on her Anatomy classes.
"Lepasni tak payah pakai G-string lagi lah. One of the doctors from my class dont recommend it." Mum said.
"Why?" I asked. I was curious. Honestly, I dont favour G-string but visible pantyline is such a turn-off. Don't you think so?
Then mum starts telling stories about gravities. Face sags, breast sags and with G-string, buttock sags few times faster, because of no support from the panty. HAHA.
Yeah memang betul pon. So nak pakai ape lepas ni eh?

Nervous

Next Monday, I will be giving a presentation on the findings of my project. It aint easy because it's a technical presentation and man, you can never bullshit when ever you are delivering a technical presentation to bunch of experts. I am so nervous and I really need my vitamins. Wish me luck.
